The Problem With DMs
We all want to be able to play the damned game.
The second someone finds out you DM kiss your player characters goodbye (because playing a DM NPC sucks, and is nothing like having a normal PC).
I’m tempted to start a DM only group where the plot is handled like the campfire story where someone tells a bit, and the next person picks it up, then none of us would would be trapped as the DM. Every session, different DM from the previous session.
This is my problem.
Boyfriend’s PC was my favorite in our group, so I was really disappointed when he was wrangled into DMing (though everyone has to admit he was best at it).
do not fall in love with people like me.
i will take you to museums, and parks, and monuments, and kiss you in every beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting me like blood in your mouth. i will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible. and when i leave you will finally understand, why storms are named after people.
I just happened across this series entitled After Master by Yin Xin. By far my faourite is the Birth of Venus. Yin has taken classic master paintings and replaced their Western subjects with Chinese ones. LOVES IT.
- Top is Birth of Venus by Boticelli.
- Dejeuner Sur L’Herbe by Manet.
- Venus and the Lute Player by Titian
- Mona Lisa by Da Vinci
